Penn State Shenango Men's Basketball Signs Athlete Ethan Courtney

Sharon, Pa--Penn State Shenango Athletic Director/Men's Head Basketball Coach Andre Smith announced 6’5 Ethan Courtney has committed to continuing his education and playing career at Penn State Shenango. Ethan was a starter for Youngstown Ursuline High School. During his senior year for the Irish, the 2-year letter winner averaged 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 block shots per game. Ethan helped lead the Irish into the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Ethan is the proud son Bob and Michelle Courtney.

Coach Smith comments that Ethan is a guy that can defend the basket and has the ability to step out and hit shots. He runs the floor well and will be counted on for interior defense with his length and shot-blocking ability.
